Nintendo Ports Its First Ever Ds Game To The Wii U Virtual Console, But Only In Japan

Nintendo has kept to its word and started releasing DS games for the Wii U Virtual Console. Brain Age, or Brain Training as it was known in some markets, has been released for console owners in Japan as a free digital download until June 30. As the video below shows, the casual puzzle game uses the Wii U GamePad exclusively; the two screens from the DS are shown side-by-side on the tablet controller, mimicking the unique “book” set up that was required on the DS.
