Youtube’S Reportedly Planning A Subscription Service For On-Demand Video
YouTube may soon offer viewers a subscription-based video-on-demand (SVOD) service. A content creation studio’s comment to Variety reveals that the video platform is “exploring the prospect of launching its own subscription VOD service.” The subscription-based VOD service is reported to be modeled on YouTube Music Key, which brings unlimited, ad-free access to music videos and about 30 million tracks on Google Play Music for $7.99 per month.
