Google And Lg Agree To Share Patents For The Next Decade
LG has just announced that it is entering a global patent license agreement with Google, allowing the two tech heavyweights to share existing patents, as well as those filed over the next 10 years. The agreement isn’t much of a surprise, given that the two companies have been partnering for a while: LG manufactured the last two Android flagship devices, the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, and daher joined Google’s Open Automotive Alliance earlier this year to boost innovation in automobile technology.
