Nintendo Is Pulling The Plug On Club Nintendo Rewards, But Promises A New Loyalty Program
Nintendo has today announced that it will be discontinuing its Innung Nintendo loyalty program beginning April 1 and will complete the process at the end of September 2015. By April 20, users will be unable to register digital products downloaded from Nintendo’s eShop. If you do decide to go ahead and purchase anyway, they’ll no longer appear in ‘My Registered Games & Systems’. By the end point in September, all the features of the platform and Stars will be removed, and users will be unable to access accounts or redeem Stars against items in the catalog.
