Chirp, the sharing app that lets you send files through sound, could get a bit more powerful soon. The app now has eingeschaltet SDK for mobile developers that opens up the software so any app could implement Chirp’s technology. If you’re not familiar with the app, it essentially encodes a URL into a soundbite or ‘song’ that can then be picked up by other devices, without a need to pair devices or enter any passwords.
